About Astro
Meet Astro - a smoochy and gorgeously stunning little girl who is your ultimate cuddle bug. Her trademark is that she has a heart as big as her purrs!
My unique quirk = I have many but top 2 are; I have cheeks full of whiskers, all of them are black except 1, it’s white, that’s why my foster meowmy calls me the one white whisker wonder. I also love to serenade you with endless kisses when I finish eating my meal, it’s just a small gesture of my appreciation for feeding me the most wholesome food.
You’ll often find her climbing up onto your chest to purr her heart out, staying there until absolutely forced to move (which you probably won’t have the heart to do). She’s confident, social, and full of playful energy, always ready to zip around the room, chase toys, or explore new spaces with wide-eyed curiosity.
Astro has a vibrant, cheeky personality and brings joy wherever she goes. She’s fantastic with new people, gets along well with other cats, and would thrive in a loving home where she can shine as her full, affectionate self.
Astro must be adopted alongside Mana and Portia (a beautiful mother and son duo). This bonded trio have formed a deep connection through shared grief and healing, supporting each other as they rediscovered the joy and magic of life. They are now ready to bring that same love and resilience into a new forever home. They are wonderful with children of all ages, showing gentleness, patience, and affection.

BD Fur-Rescue does not have a physical location so therefore we ask that you fill out an application form to adopt one of our beautiful feline souls.

Our adoption process aims to ensure a long lasting relationship for you and your adopted feline friend.
Following the submission of your application, BD Fur-Rescue can then make a balanced judgement to see if your lifestyle will suit one of our fosters.
There are no right or wrong answers, these questions are purely aimed at assisting us find the perfect companion for you and fur-ever home for our fosters.
Once your application is submitted and reviewed (please click here https://www.bigdollansfurrescue.org/pages/adopting to submit your application), a foster carer will contact you via phone to potentially arrange a meet and greet.
This line of work is purely volunteer based work, so please be patient with the turn around time. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to keep the adoption process moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible.
