Meet Leadlight. A male small white/ grey young terrier x. Initially, Leadlight is very shy and initially timid, but once he is used to a new environment, he shows his true nature of being a playful and curious puppy who likes to explore and play with toys. He is intimated by bigger dogs; but we think he would thrive in a positive, loving environment where he has a similar sized and aged doggy playmate to match his energy levels.

Leadlight gets nervous when going outside for a walk and requires consistent and predictable routines to decrease his anxiety. Loud and sudden noises are very stressful, hence a quiet home with no young children would be ideal.

Leadlight is suitable for an apartment and can be left alone during work hours. He's almost fully toilet trained and has great abilities to learn. Leadlight likes to cuddle but also likes his own space as well. It appears that he is intimidated by men, so would need significant time and patience to settle in with a couple.

With his very friendly nature, he'd be a great addition to an adult household who understands the difficult upbringing he went through.

Leadlight still needs to learn to trust and how to feel safe. Street and city noises can trigger a state of panic and he needs a lot of patience, love and care to know that he is safe.
