Toby (Chihuahua X Fox Terrier) is a delightful dog searching for a home where he can bask in love and companionship. If you crave a devoted furry friend, Toby is your guy, always eager to be the centre of attention and ready for a cuddle or a pat. He demonstrates excellent recall, promptly coming when called, and has learned simple commands like "sit." His gentle nature shines as he carefully takes treats and food without fuss.

Though he's still mastering the art of the dog door, Toby is making progress. He'll need a little extra training and access to the outdoors to avoid indoor accidents. A loving brush-up on this skill should do the trick! Toby is also crate trained. Within a family, he's shown a good rapport with a caregiver's 14-year-old son, though he hasn't been tested around very young children. Toby is not prone to barking and is content to follow you about, simply relishing in your presence. He has proven to be good with dogs and cats, he would love a home where someone works from home or is retired.

Toby has a tendency to lean towards anxiety, particularly during excursions. However, he quickly settles down and becomes a calm co-pilot. At bedtime, Toby cherishes sleeping on the bed, nestled beside the person he adores. His fantastic qualities and affectionate personality make him an ideal companion for the right home.
