About Ember (K44)
Hi, I'm Ember, or as my foster family calls me, Ember-Lance. You'll find out why if you accidentally lock me in a room. I came into care with an underbite and had surgery for this but still eat completely normally. I do take a little longer to eat and chew louder than your average cat.
I'm still a cheeky girl, still love my cat treats, and still believe these four paws were made for walking, so please don't pick me up. I'm more of an independent girl who loves some snuggles on her own terms. Because of this and my fear of loud or sudden noises, I’d prefer a home with children 12+. If you're really lucky, I might show you my gorgeous purr.
What makes me extra unique is that when I first came into care, I found comfort in my foster family's dog and would only sleep with her for the first week, and slowly after that, I figured out how to wag my tail like a dog and watch my surroundings and to stand up in the window to watch the neighbourhood like my foster family's dog taught me.
Although I’ve gotten on well with my foster family’s dog, it does take me some time and slow introductions to another dog to bond and trust them, so I’d be extra happy with a slow, cat-savvy dog that could become my best friend.
I’m okay with other cats but can be quite picky with feline friends, as I’m a very independent girl and don’t like any felines approaching for affection unless I do.
I love playing with toys and chasing them around. I love lying on my cat pole and soaking up the sun as well as watching the neighbourhood.
I have excellent litter manners, and I eat wet food for dinner with access to my biscuits throughout the day.
If you’re looking for a cat with personality, beauty, and sass, Ember isn’t just a pet—she's a soulmate waiting to be chosen.-
