About Hook
Meet Hook –
Big heart, bigger paws—get ready to be hooked!
Hook is a bright, bouncy young pup with a curious spirit and a heart full of love. This extroverted little guy is still learning the ropes, but he’s already showing great promise—he comes when whistled, sits without needing treats, and is getting the hang of heading to his bed (especially if there’s a snack involved!).
He’s a big fan of both indoor and outdoor play and is just starting to explore his voice during playtime and when he hears noises outside. While he hasn’t begun his walking adventures yet, he loves car rides (no motion sickness here!) and is showing all the signs of becoming a confident adventurer.
Hook loves being near you and will happily snuggle up when playtime winds down. He’s fantastic with kids and has a remarkably patient nature. Like any pup, he’s in his chewing phase and has a strong, growing jump—he’ll eventually be able to scale a fence, so a secure yard will be important as he grows.
This water-loving, cuddle-seeking, people-focused pup is house-trained and full of joyful energy. With the right guidance, love, and structure, Hook will grow into a loyal companion who brings warmth, playfulness, and heart to your home.
Why Hook Might Be the One for You:
Big Heart, Bigger Paws – Full of love and growing fast!
Cuddle Bug – Loves being close and soaking up snuggles
Smart & Eager to Learn – Already knows “sit” and learning more each day
Adventure-Ready Pup – Loves the car, curious about the world, and up for anything
Playful Pup – Curious, goofy, and good with kids
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
