🚨🛴 MEET SCOOTER 🛴🚨

Hello! My name is Scooter, I was found wandering on a very busy road. The Angels were called and I was immediately scooped up and brought into foster care.

Nature
At first, I was terrified! I had gone through so much fending for myself on the streets, dodging cars and being all alone. I needed time to decompress and learn all about humans and being a house cat.

For the first few days, I hid quite a lot. But it wasn’t long before I started to get used to the sounds, and voices, and started to get curious! After a few days, I came up to my Foster Mum and sniffed her hand, and allowed her to pat me for the first time. A few days later, after my Foster Mum spent lots of time in my room, I started to get more and more curious and allowed my Foster Mum to pick me up for a cuddle! I’d never experienced anything like this before, so it was very new to me. After this, I started to settle more and more on her lap, and then the purrs began! My Foster Mum says I have lots of love to give and once I know I can trust you I will settle in no time.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
My Foster Mum and Dad are home most of the day. I love company. I will need a few days to get use to my new surroundings again and get my confidence back but knowing how fast I settled into my foster home it will not take long. I have not met any small children but older children would be ok.

I am presently living with several other foster kittens. I share an area with 2 smaller fosters and we all get on like a house on fire. I do like other kittens/cats for company. I love being surrounded by other friends and would get lonely on my own!

There is also a medium size dog in the house. I don't mind him at all so you could say I am ok with dogs as long as they are gentle and cat friendly.

Likes / Dislikes
I really love someone who will talk to me in a soft voice and reassure me that I am safe. My time on the road really scared me and I don't ever want to go through that again.

My PURR-fect home would be a nice safe home that I will be strictly indoors or an enclosed cat run. Another cat friend would be amazing and although the dog doesn't impress me much I could put up with a cat savvy dog. Who knows we could eventually become friends!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Scooter please come and meet him at PETstock Baldivis this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Medical Notes: Scooter was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
