About Lilah - 4 Year Old Dachshund
Lilah, the stunning 4 year old Black and tan miniature Dachshund, is the calm companion and lap warmer you need in your life.
Sweet 7kg Lilah is ready to be your best friend, she is the true definition of Velcro dog who is happy to go anywhere as long as it’s with you. She just loves the company of other small dogs and people. She hasn’t been tested with cats or pocket pets. Lilah is not a big fan of small children. Lilah would love a family with dog savvy kids over 10, who would treat her like the princess she is. Or maybe an active retired couple who would love to take Lilah with them on adventures.
She loves walks and although she is not reactive on lead she does bark a bit with sudden movements nearby, especially bikes. This could be reduced with continued training. Lilah is great at the café sitting on your lap watching the world go by.
Lilah is not suited to apartment living or being left alone for more than a couple of hours. She prefers the company of humans and small dogs. It would be ideal for her to have a calm dog as a companion. Lilah enjoys burrowing under the covers at night sleeping close to you - luckily she isn’t a blanket hog.
Lilah is thriving on a fresh food diet and we would love that to be continued in her new home.
Lilah is desexed, vaccinated, toilet trained, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms. Her adoption fee is $700. Lilah is in foster care in Newcastle. She is available for adoption to NSW and ACT, no flights.
