About Lamby
Lamb Chop AKA Lamby
2yr old desexed female Devon Rex located in the Shoalhaven area, NSW
Lamby is best described as a ‘velcro’ cat - she wants to be wherever her humans are in the house and will happily vocalise when excited
✅ Happy and content
✅ Very snuggly
✅ Using litter box well - high sided tray recommended as she urinates at the edge
✅ Eating grain free wet and dry food
⚠️ Interested in dogs and rolls around inside the main door teasing them outside
⚠️ Lived previously with cats though she tends to bully the cats she’s in care with
⚠️ Will need grooming/experience with the breed
❌ Not recommended for a home with children under 12 due to her kitten-like biting behaviour
Lamb Chop was found on the streets as a stray and her microchip details weren’t up to date. Whilst her owner was found through social media, attempts to reach out to them and have her collect her cat proved futile so into a secure loving environment she went! She has done her legal impound period so can now be rehomed. Lamb Chop was very quiet initially and spent some time decompressing though she has been in her current home for 6 weeks now and despite slow introductions she tends to bully the other cats unless supervised and corrected.
Lamb Chop is a strictly indoor only cat. She is desexed and up to date with her intestinal/heart worming prevention. Her lifetime registration with council has also been paid.
Lamb Chop displays a lot of kitten-like behaviour including chasing/jumping at legs and play biting which is something that is being worked on whilst in care and will need continued correction. Lamb Chop certainly loves playing with her toys.
Lamb Chop has a fantastic appetite and whilst she’s a small cat she was on the skinny side when she came into care and has gained 400g. Her new home will need to carefully monitor her food intake as she could easily eat too much and gain too much weight.
Like most Devon’s, Lamb Chop needs daily eye and nostril cleaning as well as monthly ear cleans. She has had her nails clipped whilst in care and whilst she doesn’t like it she tolerates it well with treats.
