About Bruno
Introducing Bruno!
Bruno is a Mastiff x born 3 November 2020.
Bruno was brought into the facility as a stray covered in bite marks, these have now been treated. While he was microchipped his owner wasn't in a position to look after Bruno so he is now on the lookout for a new, loving family. While we don't know much about his home life, we do know that he has lived with children and other dogs.
Since being at the facility Bruno has been a beautiful and very easy boy to care for. Bruno is very playful with toys and loves his treats, but most of all he loves the interaction with people. He LOVES human attention & affection and he isn't afraid to let you know he is wanting some.
Even though Bruno is a large dog we believe he would be fine around young children and the elderly as he is very gentle.
Bruno tested well with all the dogs he has met, even when a smaller dog was in his face and barking. We feel that he could be suitable to live with other dogs, or be a spoilt only child.
Bruno tested quite well with cats, if anything he was scared of them. We feel that he could be suitable to live with cats, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
Bruno didn't show much interest in our rooster, however this meeting was done through a fence and his reaction may differ if he had free-roaming pocket pets in front of him.
Bruno still has so much to learn about the world and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Bruno will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Bruno has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Bruno's adoption fee is $475 and includes his desexing & lifetime registration. Bruno is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
