About Rowdy, the gentle greyhound
If you are interested in Rowdy, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/kpSn4PdsS2Uc7gDt6
Meet Rowdy, the gentle giant with a heart as big as his love for human companionship. Despite his name, Rowdy is an affectionate and easygoing greyhound who has adapted remarkably well to apartment living. He has spurts of energy throughout the day and loves to play with his toys, so access to a backyard would allow him to enjoy some exhilarating zoomies in the sun.
Ever the social pup, Rowdy exudes joy with his constant tail wagging, and he's eager to make friends with everyone he meets. Whether he’s the sole recipient of your affections or sharing the spotlight with a polite doggy companion, Rowdy's laid-back demeanor will make him the perfect fit for a variety of household situations. He’s content to snooze on the lounge when alone and can hold his needs overnight. His lead manners are quite commendable, as Rowdy walks well and doesn't bother himself with the hustle and bustle of city noises.
While Rowdy gets excited when it's time for a walk or playtime, he remains gentle enough for families with primary school-aged children or older. He's unphased by loud sounds and enjoys receiving pats from passersby. His ability to adjust quickly to home life, coupled with his contentment to lounge around, makes him an excellent match for both experienced and less experienced dog owners.
Rowdy's love for life is infectious as he forms bonds through snuggles, face licks, and happy walks. If you're searching for a devoted, serene, and social companion who thrives on love and leisurely relaxation, Rowdy might just be the perfect addition to your family. All you need to do is provide ample cuddles, regular walks, and a cozy spot for him to stretch out—preferably on his back, of course!
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
