About Mitzi
Introducing marvellous MITZI
Mitzi is a gorgeous, affectionate young girl with a zest for life. Bursting with energy and personality, Mitzi’s always ready for a game or a good romp around the yard.
Outgoing and friendly, Mitzi adores people and thrives on affection—belly rubs and cuddles are some of her favourite things!
Mitzi is the dog who will greet you with a wagging tail and a big smile every single day. Mitzi would be the perfect match for an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit and include her in all their adventures.
If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and energetic addition to your family, Mitzi might just be your perfect match.
If Mitzi sounds like the right fit for your family, please contact our Shelter Manager, Yvette on 0421 831 128 to make a time to come and meet this gorgeous girl.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
