About Mushka
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Meet Mushka a beautiful tabby girl with a beautiful tabby personality.
And like most tabbies she is gentle, affectionate, loving and absolutely adores human company.
Mushka and her sister Mushi were well loved by her previous owner but sadly they had a change in living situation and could no longer look after them, so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find them a new home. They come from a loving household and have a lot of love to give.
Mushka is the more extroverted of the two sisters. She is confident, curious, independent and even a little sassy. You can tell that she is a bit of a princess who would love to have a castle all to herself but she shas settled in well in her new busy foster home. Her current foster carers have multiple pets and children but she has adapted quickly to this new and carved out her own territory where she likes to hang out.
She loves to hang out in the sons bedroom, on his bed where she gets lots of cuddles, and will go for a wander to explore the rest of the household when she's in the mood.
She quite likes to lie in front of a window and catch some rays and although the home has a pet door to an outside enclosure, she hasn't seemed interested in exploring outside. She seems happy and comfortable indoors living in luxury. She has impeccable manners and always uses her litter tray.
Mushka would be well suited to living in almost any environment. As long as she has a comfortable place to nap, a spot where she can catch some sun and a person to give her lots of cuddles she will be happy. A less busy environment with no other pets would be ideal. A retiree or home body with a quiet home would be perfect.
Mushka loves a pat and a scratch, enjoys head rubs and cuddles but is not a big fan of being picked up. She would make a great lap warmer for someone that likes to kick back in bed or in the couch and watch TV.
If you're looking for a companion who's very loving but very low maintenance and has beautiful personality then Mushka is the cat for you.
Mushka is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
