About Mushu
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Meet Mushu a beautiful tabby girl with a beautiful tabby personality.
And like most tabbies she is gentle, affectionate, loving and absolutely adores human company.
Mushu and her sister Mushka were well loved by her previous owner but sadly they had a change in living situation and could no longer look after them, so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find them a new home. They come from a loving household and have a lot of love to give.
Mushu is a very sweet, gentle and kind natured cat who is not at all aggressive and does not have a mean bone in her body. She can be quite timid when she first arrives in her new home and will take time to settle but once she has a chance to get to know her new home and new people her beautiful personality will begin to shine through and you'll find yourself with a sweet and affectionate little lady on your hands.
Mushu is the more introverted of the two sisters. She grew up with her sister Mushka, so she's experienced with other cats, but we think that Mushu may have been bullied by her big sister, which is why she can be quite timid at first.
We initially had her in a foster home with her sister and a couple other pets but this seemed to be too overwhelming for sweet little Mushu as she never ventured far from her safe space. So we made the decision to move her to a quieter foster home where she could be on her own and relax and she has been much happier ever since.
She is still shy, as that's part of her nature, but she has been slowly warming up, exploring her new home and engaging with her foster carers. She loves a pat, a scratch and a cuddle once she gets to know you.
She is a big fan of of soft cozy places so she will quickly find her way to your bedroom and that's where you'll find her most days snoozing away.
We'd love to find Mushu a nice quiet home, without other pets or kids, where she could relax, come up to you for pats when she's in the mood and generally be the queen of her castle.
We are vey confident that in the right environment, with the right person, and with plenty of time and love her beautiful personality will begin to shine through and you'll find yourself with a confident and affectionate little princess on your hands.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
