Meet Elvis – the little heart-throb with a whole lotta love to give!
Elvis may not have had the best start to life, but he’s determined to make the most of every day now that he’s safe, loved, and finally pain-free. Neglect in his early days cost him one eye and left him with limited vision in the other – but don’t tell him that! This little legend hasn’t looked back since his rescue and surgery.
Elvis is full of beans and always ready for his next adventure. He might be a bit clumsy (those corners come out of nowhere!) and he does sometimes bump into things – including other cats – but his zest for life more than makes up for it. He’s a fearless explorer, a toy-chasing machine, and a champion climber when it comes to scratching posts. His limited sight hasn’t dimmed his spirit one bit.
When he’s done zooming around and showing off his moves, Elvis turns into a total smoocher. He loves snuggles and will happily curl up with you for some well-earned cuddle time.
Elvis gets on well with other cats and plays enthusiastically once settled, though a slow, supervised intro is best – especially since he sometimes accidentally walks into his new friends! He can be a little rough with small kittens, so feline companions closer to his size or confidence level are ideal. He’s also good with gentle, cat-savvy dogs and we think he’d do well with older kids who understand he might need a little extra care sometimes.
Elvis must be an indoor-only cat due to his vision, but don’t worry – he’ll bring plenty of action and affection to your home without ever needing to step outside. This resilient, adaptable, and affectionate boy is finally living his best life – and now he’s ready to find a forever home to call his own.
People describe me as: Affectionate, playful, fearless, and just a little bit clumsy
How am I with dogs? Great with gentle, cat-friendly dogs who understand boundaries.
How am I with cats? I love other cats, but I do sometimes bump into them! A slow introduction is best. I play well once settled but can be a bit much for tiny kittens.
How am I with kids? I’d do best with older, respectful kids who won’t be startled if I bump into things now and then.
My purrfect home is: An indoor-only home where I can explore safely, climb to my heart’s content, and get all the cuddles I deserve. A household with other friendly pets is great – as long as they're cool with my unique way of navigating the world.
Medical Note:
Elvis has limited vision due to previous untreated eye issues before rescue, resulting in the removal of one eye and reduced vision in the other. He has fully recovered from surgery and is currently healthy, pain-free, and does not require ongoing medication. Due to his impaired vision, he must be kept indoors only for his safety. Regular vet check-ups are recommended, as with all cats.
Elvis's adoption fee is $140 which includes desexing, microchipping, parasite prevention, and initial F3 vaccination.
