About Sally
Meet Sally, the delightful young Dachshund with the sweetest personality you could imagine. At just one year old, Sally's loving nature is looking for a new family where her gentle heart will be cherished. Her timid side makes her a little shy initially, but once she warms up, you'll find a devoted friend ready to shower you with affection.
Sally is at the perfect stage of her life to blossom with some basic training and lead training, making her an exciting project for those who enjoy teaching and bonding with their pet. Her spirited, playful demeanor means she's ready to engage in fun activities, and she absolutely thrives when accompanied by a fellow little doggy friend. With proper introductions, she quickly settles into social settings with other dogs, revealing her true joyful self.
Though Sally may be a bit unsure around cats and startled by loud noises, she seeks comfort in the company of her loved ones, whether human or canine. Her ideal forever family would be one that understands her shy tendencies, appreciates her kind nature, and provides a gentle environment where she can gain confidence at her own pace.
For those who can offer patience, companionship, and a nurturing atmosphere, Sally promises boundless love and loyalty. Her journey to flourish into a confident, happy pup is one you wouldn't want to miss taking part in.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
