Tofu is ready to begin the next chapter of his journey, and we’re so excited to help him find the loving home he deserves. This gentle and sweet-natured boy came into care after being given away by his previous family. Understandably, he was scared and uncertain at first — but with time, patience, and kindness from his foster carers, Tofu has slowly begun to show his true, affectionate personality.

Tofu enjoys quiet companionship and is happiest when lounging on the couch beside you or watching the world go by from a sunny windowsill. While he hasn’t lived with other animals during his time in care, we believe that with a slow and respectful introduction, he could happily co-exist with a gentle, friendly cat or possibly a small, older dog who respects his space.

Tofu would thrive in a calm, child-free home with either a single person or a couple. He’s not fussy about whether you work from home or on-site — what matters most to him is knowing he’s safe and loved. He's recently discovered the joys of toys, and his playful side is beginning to emerge — a sure way to win his heart!

Because of his thick coat, Tofu will benefit from regular brushing, and he does require daily eye cleaning to prevent issues like ulcers from developing. He’s recently had a dental scale and polish to keep his teeth in tip-top condition, and he comes desexed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and parasite treatments.

Tofu is currently in care in Dandenong and is available for adoption in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. We're looking for a special home that will take things slow and allow Tofu the time and space to blossom into the wonderful companion we know he is.
