About Ollie
Meet Ollie, a vibrant and playful 3 month and 3 week old Cocker Spaniel with a twinkle in his eye and a heart of gold.
This adorable pup is ready to find his forever home, where he'll receive the love, care, and attention he deserves. Ollie came into care with his mum under a bit of an emergency (mum was very ill and had pyometra unfortunately Ollie had 2 more siblings that passed away) but Ollie was a fighter and against the odds not only survived but thrived (mum is okay as well)
Ollie's sweet nature makes him an ideal companion for families with kids, cats, and other dogs. He loves nothing more than snuggling up beside you, receiving belly rubs, and showering you with affection.
As a puppy, Ollie is still learning the ropes, but he's already making great progress with lead training and toilet training. With patience and consistency, he'll master these skills in no time.
Ollie is 90% toilet trained but as a pup can get distracted and the rains have certainly not helped! Ollie has been taught how to use a doggy door but will still need training at his new home.
Luckily Ollie is very very food oriented which means training makes it easier and he will happily learn if it means a treat!
Ollie loves water and has been known to happily follow you in the shower and get wet simply because he can.
His ideal home would be where he can be inside as much as he wants and have access outside for play time and general sticky beaking. Ollie would not enjoy being a dog that would be expected to spend hours outside by himself.
Ollie will thrive in an active household with another dog or dogs' companion to play and interact with. Ollie loves having friends by his side and would adore a furry sibling to share his adventures.
Ollie has not been tested with cats, but we believe he will probably try and make friends and want to wrestle or play with them like he does with other dogs.
Ollie is a snuggler and loves to hug his humans when he's tired but otherwise he loves to bounce around the house having fun. Ollie would love to have a home with kids where he can play and be with them doing exciting things like helping them clean their room, playing outside, doing their schoolwork etc etc.
Ollie loves ice and will ask for an ice tax if you enter the kitchen.
As a puppy, Ollie needs a family who can devote time and attention to his development. Someone who is home frequently would be perfect, providing the socialization and training he needs to become a well-adjusted adult dog. In return, Ollie promises to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life.
He does have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a life time of grooming.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming Cocker Spaniel, Ollie is waiting for you. His forever family will be rewarded with a lifelong companion who will cherish every moment spent together.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
