About Alfie
Meet Alfie, a lovable 3-year-old Poodle with an incredibly sweet personality. This fluffy bundle of canine joy just craves love and attention, ready to form a deep bond with his new family. He's a fantastic companion for anyone looking for a dog eager to share their love and companionship.
Alfie is known for his gentle nature and shows potential with his basic training, including responding to "sit" and coming when called most of the time. While he walks well on a lead, a bit of encouragement will help him enjoy those leisurely strolls even more.
Initially, Alfie might be a bit shy and anxious, but with patience and gentle affection, he quickly warms up to his surroundings and becomes your loyal friend. His loving nature shines through daily, and he's happiest when snuggled up next to you. Like many dogs, he occasionally shows some food-guarding tendencies around other animals, so keeping an eye on meal times can help ease any tension.
If you're in search of a devoted dog ready to shower you with love and affection, Alfie is the perfect fit. He's waiting to become a cherished member of a family who will appreciate his sweet nature and enthusiastic heart.
Medical notes
Alfie had a dental scale and clean performed under GA
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
