This is Simeon, also affectionately known as Simmy 💞

Simmy’s story with us starts on the street, where he was found all alone with a broken tail, in fact, nearly severed off. We don't know what happened to him, but he must have been in a lot of pain until he found a kind-hearted human to help him.

It's clear this little guy isn't a typical street cat, but more likely an abandoned and unwanted pet. Simmy has the gentle, affectionate nature of a cat who’s known human love. It's heartwarming to see that he hasn't lost his love for people and is ready to find a home that will, in return, love and care for him.

Simmy is recovering beautifully from his tail amputation and now sports an adorable little bunny tail, which he seems to be taking in his stride. He has settled into foster care with the relief and gratitude of living again with humans in a home. He’s very gentle, friendly, and affectionate, and enjoys being picked up for cuddles. He'll climb onto his human’s lap for comfort and does adorable little trills to call out for his tribe.

Simmy is good with dogs, and his reaction to meeting new canines in his foster home was to headbutt them. He thrives on companionship and gets along wonderfully with other cats, but his real love is humans. As he is a gentle boy who likes a settled life, he is looking for a home with adults only, or one with respectful children 5 years of age and older. His ideal home would be with people who have time to cuddle him, and he needs a friendly resident cat for company.

Simmy is gentle, mild-mannered, sweet, perfectly toilet trained, and generally just an easygoing bloke who is simply looking for love.
