Two cows and a donkey with a deep bond are searching for a new home where they can stay together. Rehoming them is a heartfelt decision made by their current family with their best future in mind–one where they’ll be loved and protected, not treated as commodities. Could you be their next safe haven?
Blossom is a nurturing and gentle soul with a strong bond to her daughter, always eager for connection. Betsy mirrors her mum’s sweet temperament, full of friendly charm and warmth. Toby, their devoted companion, is a sensitive and loyal donkey whose quiet resilience and kind nature shine through once he feels safe.
The trio: All have been socialised with dogs, cats, alpacas, horses and get along well with all animals. Friendly with humans. They are friendly but need more 1 on 1 time to become even more socialised with people.
If you have a forever home filled with unconditional love, please click the ‘Send message’ button or send an email to info@tilthecowscomehome.org to start your adoption journey today. For every calf adopted, another can be rescued.
Medical notes
Wormed & Toby's Feet done regularly by farrier.
No known injuries or medical conditions.
Blossom had milk fever in her previous pregnancy, which was treated with injections. As a result she is on the skinnier side.
Diet: Pasture grazing. They also enjoy bread, fruit, and vegetables as treats.
Toby: When purchased, Toby was completely matted and had to be clipped. Due to being bullied by the previous family’s other donkey and attacked, he is not as easy to catch anymore (became difficult to catch when being treated for bite wounds). They have to put him in a small yard to catch, but with more one-on-one time, it may help resolve this. He is very bonded to Blossom and has been for years. He has his feet done regularly, but the family don’t really brush him, though they have in the past. He doesn’t kick or bite you; he just moves around a lot.
