A 2 year old Great Dane x Mastiff with the soul of a loyal best mate and the decision-making skills of a toddler on red cordial.

He’s incredibly handsome, deeply affectionate, and very clever… which is both a blessing and a hilarious challenge.
He learns fast, especially when it benefits him!, and has a heart of gold buried under a layer of chaos and curiosity.

Here’s what you should know:

Marris is a good boy!
A proper, snuggly, eager-to-please, wants-to-be-with-you-at-all-times kind of good boy.
But he’s not a blank canvas.

He comes with pre-installed quirks:
🦴 Will ignore you if he’s mentally busy (sniffing a leaf)
🦴 Has selective hearing if your tone isn’t convincing enough
🦴 Thinks he’s the size of a baby goat
🦴 Has big feelings, especially when his routine changes
🦴 Loves men, shadowing them like a giant duckling
🦴 Needs reassurance that he’s doing the right thing, then thrives when he knows the rules
🦴 If you sit on the floor with him, he will instantly assume you are entering into a WWE smackdown championship and will not offer any preferential treatment
🦴 He thinks every couch and bed in the house was purchased from a pet store specifically for him but he is generous enough to allow you to share ‘his’ beds with him for snuggles

Yes, he can be a bit naughty…
BUT..
it’s less “bad dog” and more “bored genius making his own fun.”

He’s safe and loved in his foster home but within the right home, that mischief from boredom can turn into magic

Marris would love:

✔️ A home with no other pets - Marris has the social finesse of a wrecking ball. He assumes all other animals want to roughhouse and gets very confused when they don’t. And when you weigh 50kg and have no concept of personal space, that kind of enthusiasm can cause… logistical issues.
✔️ No small kids - not because he’s mean, just because he’s built like a horse but thinks he’s built like a baby goat
✔️ A secure yard, a structured day, and a best friend who includes him in life
✔️ Someone who’ll stick with training - because Marris is clever enough to get away with things… and charming enough to make you let him.
✔️ Someone who sees his quirks and says, “Yep. That’s my boy.”

Marris is sweet. He’s funny. He’s smart. He is a big boundless ball of love. And once he chooses you, that’s it. You’re his world! ❤️
