We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Anissa sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Anissa is on the lookout for a special kind of home—one where there’s plenty of company, lots of play, and even more cuddles. She’d love to join a family that’s home often, where the days are filled with gentle voices, curious little humans, and maybe even a fellow feline friend. Anissa is especially well-suited to households with kids (big or small) and would thrive in an environment where she’s part of the action, not just watching it from the sidelines.

While she may be a little shy at first with new faces, Anissa is quick to warm up with a bit of patience and kindness. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly affectionate—curling up next to you on the couch, offering soft purrs, and gently rubbing her head against you. She’s not one to hide away; she’s just thoughtful about who she opens her heart to—and once she does, it’s all in.

Anissa is playful, adventurous, and full of personality. She spends her days gazing out the window, exploring every corner of the house, and batting her feather wand toy with delight.
