About Rosie
Say hello to Rosie, a bright-eyed bundle of energy!
Rosie is a stunning green-eyed Kelpie crossed with a Chocolate Labrador, blending the intelligence and drive of a working dog with the loyal, affectionate nature of a Lab.
At just a few months old, Rosie is already showing what a smart cookie she is. She’s eager to learn and thrives on enrichment, play, and training that keeps her mind and body active.
Rosie would be the perfect companion for a family who lives on a property — she’s made for wide open spaces, where she can run, explore, and let her adventurous spirit shine.
Rosie would love a home where she’ll be included in family life. With the right guidance and positive reinforcement, she’ll grow into an incredible lifelong companion.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
