About Louis
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Louis sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Louis is a true gentleman of the feline world – gentle, friendly, and perfectly content with the simple things in life. He’s the kind of cat who’ll slowly blink at you from a sunny windowsill, then reward your company with soft purrs and sweet little head nudges. While he enjoys his independence, he also loves a quiet cuddle session, showing his affection with kneading paws and that peaceful, content purr that says, “You’re my person.”
When it comes to meeting new faces, Louis is a bit of a shy guy. At first, he might retreat to a cozy hiding spot, but with a little patience and a calm, kind approach, he’ll gradually peek out and show you his soft heart. Sometimes, with the right gentle encouragement, he’s even instantly friendly! Once you’re in his circle of trust, you’ve got a loyal little companion for life.
Louis is looking for a peaceful home – ideally one that reflects his calm and curious nature. He’s happiest with outdoor access so he can wander and soak up the sun, and he’d prefer to be the only cat in the household. A rural setting or a quieter suburban home would suit him best, especially with people who understand that good things take time. A slower-paced lifestyle and kind, patient humans would be his dream come true.
With a love for naps in weird and wonderful positions, sunbathing, and indulging in a tasty treat or two, Louis leads a laid-back, low-maintenance lifestyle. He’s the kind of companion who doesn’t ask for much—just a calm environment, a bit of space to roam, and someone to love him exactly as he is. If you’re after a sweet, soulful sidekick to share your quiet moments and countryside strolls, Louis might just be your perfect match.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
