About Cannonball
Cannonball is definitely here to make a splash!
He's a smart, playful but snuggly little guy. When he first arrived in foster care, he was a bit nervous & his coat... not so great... Now he's a little more like Fabio. Luscious locks galore! His short but solid stature, his ears telling a story of their very own, he's delightfully cute with a personality to match.
Cannon likes company more often than not, when home alone he can get a bit anxious. He don't get up to too much mischief but he can make sure everyone know, he misses his people! This is something we're working on & he's making progress but his new family will need to understand and be able to continue building his confidence that they will indeed return!
My ideal home: I love being around people & other dogs. I love long walks & chasing balls in the park... Unless it's raining. I do not like being out in the rain very much. I am great on a lead & will approach dogs for a little sniff but I do it so gently. They all love me!
My energy level: The best of both worlds - I love to play with all of my toys, including puzzle toys & going exploring on walks but I equally love hanging out on the couch with my foster parents... Snoozing. Bed time is one of my favourite times of day!
My suitability to children: Given my bursts of energy I'd be best suited to older children
My suitability to other cats or dogs: Untested with cats but I love having fun with other dogs and would maybe like to live with a canine pal.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
