This beautiful little lady is one of the sweetest and most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. She absolutely adores human company.

She was well loved by her previous family but sadly was not happy in such a busy household so her people made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new home.

She came to us very stressed and very grumpy but now that she's in the right environment she's a completely different cat and is loving life. Her beautiful personality has shone through and she has become one of the most insanely affectionate cats that you'll ever meet.

She came to us with the name Luna but her new foster carer has been calling her Princess Pumpkin and we decided to keep the name as she really is a sassy little princess.

Surprisingly it did not take her at all long to settle into her new foster home. Her new foster carer gave her space to settle but within no time at all Princess Pumpkin was climbing all over him, purring away and wanting cuddles.

Princess Pumpkin is the type of cat that always wants to be around you and always wants to be part of whatever you're doing. If you move around the house she will follow you from room to room, if you go to the bathroom and close the door she will sit outside the door and wait for you, if you're sitting on the couch watching TV she will be on your lap watching with you and when it is time for bed she will curl up and be a part of that too.

As soon as you get home from work she will be rubbing up against your legs and wanting attention. She just LOOOOOOVES people. She's always in the mood for a pat and a scratch and love's nothing more than a cuddle. She also loves to play and will chase a wand toy around like a little kitten.

She's not a big fan of being picked up and hugged just yet but her foster carer is working on it.

Little Pumpkin truly is a princess and needs her own castle. She does not like other pets and would not be suitable for a household with young kids or a busy family in a home with lots of loud noises.

She's really enjoying apartment living so her ideal home would be a nice quiet apartment, with a young single or couple, who are looking for a crazy amount of cuddles. This little lady has an insane amount of unconditional love to give and just needs the same in return.

Pumpkin is also very confident and not at all shy when strangers come around. She does not waste any time getting pats and cuddles from any new people.

If you're looking to add an incredibly affectionate and sassy little lady to your home then this is the cat for you.

Princess Pumpkin is approximately 5 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
