About Marcus
Marcus is a sweet-natured pup who, along with his siblings, arrived at the pound but was never claimed. Despite his rocky start, Marcus has shown nothing but love and resilience.
Marcus has started in our basic training program and is doing really well! He’s smart and an eager learner who will thrive in a family willing to continue his training.
Marcus would make a fantastic family dog. He’s great with people and would love a home where he gets love, guidance, and to join in on all the family's adventures!
Could Marcus complete your family? Please contact our wonderful Shelter Manager Yvette on 0421 831 128, to make a time to come and meet Marcus today.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
