About Bagheera (Mia)
Introducing HD3020 Bagheera, yes she was named after the big black panther from the Jungle Book! Now known to her family as Mia.
Relaxed but can get overly playful
She likes to chase and run with someone, not interested in toys at all, so you'll have to do some physical exercise to bond!
She loves to be inside with you but is very awkward at cuddles and never gets comfy if you are cuddling her. She does just like to chill next to you though.
She is great at sleeping in your bed for such a big dog you don't notice she's there, she curls up into a small ball and doesn't make a fuss.
Bagheera loves running and playing in the yard, she doesn't mind the heat if she stays outside as long as there's shade and water, but obviously inside is much more comfy with a couch or bed to sleep on.
She's too big and bouncy for kids under 12, but teenagers and adults are fine.
She's good with cats with the right introduction.
Medium to large dogs are fine as long as they are not bullies, small dogs would be swallowed whole or tripped on!
She can be possessive over food and will push the other dog out of the way and eat their food if she finishes hers first.
She has not been tested with livestock or other pets.
Mostly housetrained - she will investigate kitchen bench and table for food and bin if its not closed.
Bagheera likes riding in cars, but will take up a whole adult seat on her own, so best you come prepared with a large vehicle!
Despite her size, she is afraid of thunderstorms, and will need comfort and a safe place to ride it out.
She knows some commands like come, sit and bed, but overall will need more management and training to help her adjust to new rules and boundaries that she needs to live a long and happy life!
