About chelsea
Meet Chelsea
Chelsea’s story isn’t the easiest to tell, but she deserves to have it heard, because none of it was her fault.
Chelsea came into care when she was just 4 weeks old, a tiny kitten who grew up surrounded by love and safety. About a year ago, she was adopted into what we hoped would be her forever home. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. A few months ago she was found alone in the bush and taken to the pound. Because her microchip was still registered to us we were able to contact her owners, they made it clear they did not want her back. So she made her way back into our care. She has spent the last few months recovering and she's been patiently waiting for her next (hopefully) forever home.
She has the most stunning coat and an incredibly expressive little face that will melt your heart. She’s affectionate in the sweetest ways. Curling up on her foster carer’s bed every night, keeping them company and soaking up the comfort of being close to someone she trusts.
Chelsea can be a little flinchy when hands come toward her face or head, and it’s clear she’s still learning that she’s safe. She will need a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and kindness she needs to rebuild that trust. Once she feels secure, her loving nature shines through.
She’s playful, kind, and does well with other cats when given slow, gentle introductions, she’s currently living peacefully with her foster siblings.
What Chelsea needs now is someone who sees her for who she truly is: a loving, deserving girl who just wants to feel safe and home again.
If you have a quiet heart, a gentle touch, and room in your life for a cat who will love you deeply in return, Chelsea is waiting for you 💕
