About Badger
Meet Badger.
This sweet young man had been stuck in a rural QLD pound for 10 months. As soon as we found that out we couldn't let him stay there any longer.
Badger absolutely loves any and all food and is quite the guzzler! His foster carer feeds him seperate because of this so he doesn't pinch his foster siblings food. A slow feeding bowl would be a must in his new home.
Hes a sociable boy who loves dogs and is good with cats. He'd happily go to a home with either.
He just loves chasing the ball and having zoomies in the backyard. He hadn't been able to do this for a long time so is enjoying the freedom!
Hes a bit of a Velcro Pup who loves a cuddle companion and someone to lean on. Snuggling on the couch and watching a movie is his ideal night in.
He’s 90% there with toilet training just will need a small bit of assistance as he’s only just been desexed and still learning Not to mark.
Has had some crate experience while leaving the house and has had no issue and has spent 2 nights in there, he complained for 20-30 minutes then settles.
Badger is a pleasure to train as he is so treat motivated. Currently he Can sit reliably and is learning stay and shake (he’s very smart!). He'd love to keep learning new things in his forever home.

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
