Rocco

Time has come for Rocco our 6 month old male Jack Russell Terrier is ready to sniff out his forever home. Date of birth 19/09/2024.

Rocco is a sweet loving energetic pup!
He loves to hang out with people and other dogs equally but does require a doggy companion big or small to give him the best life.
Prior to coming into our care Rocco was escaping his yard to visit dogs next door. He will not cope being a solo dog. Having said that Rocco's companion will need to be a tolerant one. Rocco gets along well with other dogs but can be very up in there face due to being a young dog.

Another love of Rocco's is his love of swimming and a good roll in the dirt 🤣. He loves this combo even though his humans don't.

Rocco is in foster care on rural property and has been around farm animals supervised with no issues. Due to his terrier instincts and tenacity we would not leave him around pocket pets or poultry unsupervised.

In care Rocco has established good recall, sit, stay and wait for food. He is good on and off leash and has learnt to heal really well.

Rocco's carers have found him to be a little food proective around other animals, however this is easily managed with feeding separately.

Rocco would make a great companion for an active family with an established dog in the home.

Rocco has been flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Rocco's adoption fee is $850.00.
