About Laddie
Everyone meet Laddie!
Laddie is a two year old corgie who found himself in our care after he very sadly lost his human dad.
Laddie had grown up with another dog for his entire life but unfortunately due to circumstances outside of everyone’s control they were seperated and laddie came to us at waggin tails.
Despite everything this boy has been through recently he is a very happy, loyal and well mannered young man.
Laddie does really thrive off being in the company of his owner and has been going to work with his foster carer as a “tradie dog”
He’s been really enjoying this but does spook if the excavators are in use so please keep in mind that big noises can startle him.
Laddie is toilet trained and sleeps inside during the night
His ideal home would allow him access to the house 24/7.
He also gets on well with most other dogs but would do best with a dog of similar size or slightly bigger, who respects his space and boundaries.
Laddie walks well on lead and has very good recall as well.
We would recommend a home with kids over 10 years for laddie, he has shown no aggression at all but does let us know with body language that he appears to be feeling nervous around toddlers, we do believe this is just due to such drastic changes in his life as we were told he has been around young kids with no issues throughout his life.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
