Rex (Located in Wantirna South)

Rex is among the smallest bunny's we’ve ever met! He is smaller than most adult guinea pigs, but he makes up for his tiny size with his amazing big personality.

He is full of character, confidence, and charm. He loves exploring the house with such curiosity, lounging around in on his favourite bunny beds, and eating endless amounts of hay.

Due to being bred for his
small size, Rex was sadly born with congenital kidney disease (CKD). This is a lifelong condition, but it is currently well managed with once daily medication which he absolutely loves taking.

He requires routine blood and urine tests every 6 months to monitor his kidney function and ensure he remain as healthy as possible.

Rex is now approaching his senior years, and we’re looking for an experienced, rabbit-savvy home that understands the needs of rabbits with CKD and is committed to providing him with the care and attention he deserves for his final years.

While caring for rabbits with special needs isn’t for everyone, for the right person, Rex will bring endless joy, companionship, and plenty of bunny antics to your home.
