About Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Presley is a pure ray of sunshine!
Beyond beautiful in looks and personality, she's incredibly loyal, loving and snuggly. Wherever you are, she has to be too - sitting at your feet in the kitchen while you cook dinner, loafing patiently on the bathroom mat while you shower, or racing to join you in the bedroom the second she hears you go in :)
Priscilla was surrendered to the pound with her three kittens, limping badly. Coming into foster care she was skinny, her eyes were sunken and her fur was scratchy and thin. With lots of love and good food she soon fattened up, but one of her back legs was causing her obvious pain...
X-rays showed a number of severe old breaks that had tried to fuse back together in awkward positions. After discussions with the vet, it was decided the best course of action was to amputate her leg - and she's now a changed woman! Her fur is thick, luscious and soft, her face is plump, and she bounds up the stairs with ease on her three legs :) She has a new lease on life and her deep affection for humans shows how grateful she is every day.
Like all Maggie's pets, Priscilla Presley is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I think I'd be very happy in virtually any type of cat-loving home! I adore people of all ages and sizes, the friendly resident feline in my foster home and my kitten, Brigitte Bardot (also up for adoption here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1099145). Stairs aren't a problem for me, despite my tripod status - and I still gets the zoomies every evening!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm told ragdolls like to sleep a lot, and that's certainly me to a tee! My nature is calm and serene, and my favourite hobbies are snoozing in the sun and snuggling on the lounge with my blanket.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Fantastic! I just want to be loved and show love in return :) I'm cool with being picked up and carried around, I adore being part of the action, and spending time with the family on the lounge at the end of a busy day is like a dream come true!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Other cats are the best!
Not sure about dogs - I haven't met any of those since arriving in foster care.
Medical notes
Upon arriving in foster care with a bad limp, Priscilla was found to have a number of severe old breaks in her femur and femoral head that had healed in awkward positions. Subsequently, the affected leg was amputated and she's now a spritely and pain-free tripod!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
