Meet Volvo, the leader of the kitten pack. The big girl in charge! She may be blind but that doesn't slow her down or stop her leading her best kitte life. Volvo is first to go exploring, first to climb the kitty tower, first to get up to mischief, and first to climb into your lap for a snuggle.

Volvo is confident and adventurous around the home which she shares with her siblings and the family cats. She loves attention and loves food.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Volvo loves to play and explore. She loves having her siblings to play with but is also quite happy to explore by herself if they're napping.

She hasn't met dogs but with proper introductions, she'd likely be best friends to a well mannered doggo.

Same with children, well mannered respectful kids who give her warning they're coming will be great companions for Volvo.

One of her siblings would also be a perfect companion for her. She has two blind siblings and two sighted siblings.

Likes / Dislikes
Volvo's foster home is pretty quiet, so she can hear her siblings and housemates approaching. She has adapted brillianty to being blind. She and her siblings amaze their Foster Mum everyday with their antics and ability to navigate their environment with ease and agility.

My PURR-fect home would be one with people home often to keep her company or with another furry friend at home to play with and snuggle with for naps. She also needs to be strictly indoor or with access to a safe secure catrun as she is 100% blind.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Volvo had both eyes removed in March 2025 due to a congenital birth defect. She has recovered well from this surgery and does not require any further treatment. Due to this, she is totally blind and will need to be a strictly indoor only cat, however may have access to a fully enclosed cat run.
