About Dorito
Meet Dorito, a shy young male with a personality that's as unique as his name. Like his favorite snack, Dorito is full of surprising crunches of character once he's had time to settle in. At first, he may be a bit reserved and cautious, but with patience and understanding, he'll slowly come out of his shell.
Dorito may take a little time to trust, but once he does, he'll reveal his playful and fun-loving side, always eager to be part of the action. He enjoys quiet moments and a calm environment, where he can feel safe to explore and bond at his own pace.
Dorito is looking for a family who can offer him the time and space to adjust, and in return, he'll bring a whole lot of love and joy to your home-just like the perfect snack to brighten up your day.

BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
