About Prince
A name fit for a royal, and this handsome boy certainly lives up to it!
This beautiful boy has a big heart and a lot of love to give. A true gentle giant, Prince lights up when he’s with people he trusts. Once he feels safe, his playful side shines through, especially when he’s running freely through the paddocks.
Prince is also a social guy who loves to run and play with other dogs. He’d love to share his home with a friendly canine buddy who enjoys a good zoom around the paddock too! He’s not a fan of older, dominant males, but has done beautifully in foster care alongside a younger, easy-going Maremma.
Like most Maremmas, Prince has an independent streak and a whole lot of energy. He’ll need more space and stimulation than your average backyard can offer, and he’s looking for someone who understands what makes guardian breeds tick. While he’s not interested in guarding livestock, he can be protective of his people once he feels at home.
Prince is searching for a special adopter with experience caring for guardian breeds; someone patient, confident, and ready to give this big-hearted boy the space, structure, and love he deserves.
