About Rio
Meet Rio - A little cat with a big personality! Full of spunk, charm, and fearless energy, he’s the kind of kitten who dives headfirst into life and makes every day more entertaining just by being himself.
My unique quirk = I am the life of the party baby and will never not make you laugh and remind you taking life to serious is a no for me & probably you too ;)
When he’s not stretched out on the couch like he owns the place, Rio is busy wrestling with his siblings or working his charm on the adult cats in the house (he’s convinced everyone wants to be his best friend—and honestly, they probably do).
Rio is bold, social, and absolutely thrives in the company of others. He’s the first to explore new things, the last to get rattled, and always in the middle of all the fun. Whether it’s zoomies, chasing toys, or initiating a play session, he’s the life of the party.
Rio has taken to his foster meowmy's lap like it's his second bed. He is affectionate, loves to be close to his hoomans and will happily hang out beside you or on you, soaking up your company and making sure he’s always in on the action. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, confident, and loyal little shadow who will keep you smiling and fill your home with joy, Rio might just be your perfect match. Rio must be adopted with either his brother Simon or into a home with other cats as he has grown up with 10+ cats and therefore thrives with cat companionship. *** No enquiries or applications will be accepted for Rio to be adopted as a singleton.
He is looking for a forever home where his fur-parents are home more often than not, he will be great around other cats and children. He requires love, attention, and good vibes in his forever home too.

BD Fur-Rescue does not have a physical location so therefore we ask that you fill out an application form to adopt one of our beautiful feline souls.

Our adoption process aims to ensure a long lasting relationship for you and your adopted feline friend.
Following the submission of your application, BD Fur-Rescue can then make a balanced judgement to see if your lifestyle will suit one of our fosters.
There are no right or wrong answers, these questions are purely aimed at assisting us find the perfect companion for you and fur-ever home for our fosters.
Once your application is submitted and reviewed (please click here https://www.bigdollansfurrescue.org/pages/adopting to submit your application), a foster carer will contact you via phone to potentially arrange a meet and greet.
This line of work is purely volunteer based work, so please be patient with the turn around time. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to keep the adoption process moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible.
