Hi, I'm Pretzel! 🐾

They say I'm a bit of a character-and they're right! I'm a comical guy with a big heart, a love for toys, and an even bigger love for my humans. Whether it's tossing around a squeaky toy or curling up beside you, I'm happiest when I'm by your side.

Life hasn't always been easy, and when I first arrived at the shelter, I was pretty timid. New places and people can be a little scary for me at first, so I'll need a patient, loving family who understands that I need time to settle in and feel safe. I'd really love it if someone could be home with me during that adjustment period-just until I find my paws.

I'd be okay living with dog-savvy kids, especially if they understand I need a little space when I'm feeling unsure. I'm also dog social! I like to say hi on my own terms and would do best with a calm, non-reactive dog-preferably a female friend-to help me feel more at ease. A confident buddy in the home might just be the ticket to helping me truly thrive.

I'm looking for a home where I can enjoy both the comforts of indoors and the joy of a yard to play and explore in. Most of all, I'm looking for someone who sees me not for who I was when I was scared, but for who I am when I feel safe-loyal, goofy, and full of love.
