Meet Searchlight!
This sweet boy has had a rough start to life, but he’s ready to find his forever home. Though young, Searchlight has an old soul. He’s a tiny pup with a big heart, weighing just 4kg, and has a wise, gentle spirit beyond his years.

Timid at first, Searchlight needs a patient and loving person to help him feel safe. Once he trusts you, he’ll become your devoted little shadow — curling up in your lap, resting in your arms, or simply staying close by your side. His playful side will shine too, with joyful zoomies and wagging tails, filling your home with happiness.

Searchlight has some trust issues from his past and needs someone patient who will let him build confidence at his own pace. He can be shy and will sometimes cower when approached by strangers, so a quiet, calm home would be ideal. Loud noises can startle him, and he would do best with older children who understand his need for gentle handling. He may also enjoy the company of a small, calm dog friend.

He is still learning lead walking, but with love, encouragement, and a few tasty treats, he will continue to blossom into the perfect companion.
