Pookie is a pint sized, sweet and gentle lady who may take a little time to warm up to new faces, but once she does, she’ll become your loyal shadow. She came in with terrible skin and though she is much better now, she will still need regular medicated baths.

As a quiet soul, Pookie rarely barks, making her a wonderfully peaceful companion. She does need tall fencing and a family who will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings, but once she’s comfortable in her new home, she’ll settle into a routine of love, loyalty, and cuddles.

She will need a home with someone around more often than not, with high fences, possibly with kids and the right dog. Pookie is in foster, please contact us to book a time to meet her on Saturdays.
