About Martha
Meet Martha, a charming 3-year-old Chihuahua who is simply bursting with love to share. This incredibly sweet and affectionate girl has a lot of heart to offer and is in search of a new family to call her own. With a gentle nature and a passion for companionship, Martha is guaranteed to become your best friend and ultimate snuggle buddy.
Martha is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs and even cats(although a little scared of them), making her a wonderful addition to homes with multiple pets. Her absolute love for people means she thrives on affection and companionship; all she desires is to be by your side, showering you with warmth and loyalty. While she is working on her lead training, she walks with a bit of encouragement and loves an adventure.
This little lady is generally a quiet and happy girl, though she can occasionally be a stimulus barker – a natural Chihuahua trait that she easily outshines with her joyful presence and love. With a soft little bed near yours, she will settle in for the night happily and dream sweet dreams.

Bilateral grade 3 medial luxating patellas. May require surgical correction. Will lead to development of osteoarthritic changes (arthritis)

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
