About Penelope & Gigi
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Penelope & Gigi sound like the cats for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Penelope & Gigi are looking for a home as warm and affectionate as they are! These two gentle, bonded sisters have spent their lives together, and they’re searching for a family who will cherish them just as much as they cherish each other. If you’re looking for loving, low-maintenance companions who enjoy lounging nearby, snuggling up on the couch, and greeting you with head rubs in the morning, these two will fit right in.
Their ideal home is one where they can feel safe and settle in at their own pace. They may initially keep their distance when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, they’ll soon be seeking out your lap for cozy TV time. Penelope is the more confident one, while Gigi takes a little longer to come out of her shell—but once she does, she’s an absolute cuddlebug! A calm environment with gentle introductions will help them feel right at home.
Having grown up alongside two friendly French Bulldogs, Penelope & Gigi are comfortable around dogs and could adapt well to a home with other respectful pets. They’ve never been outdoors but are curious about the world beyond the window. Their daily routine is simple: eat, sleep, play, repeat—making them an easygoing and loving addition to any home.
These two are looking for a family who will love them as much as they love each other. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a pair of affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully bonded cats, Penelope & Gigi are ready to meet you

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
