About Milo
Dear Future Family,
It's Milo here, and let me tell you, things are buzzing in the Village today (Like me when I see a particularly interesting bug buzzing around, which is, like, all the time 😊) as its finally time to meet you.
Life at Village Tails Rescue is pawsome, but today we are on a SUPER IMPORTANT MISSION: to find my forever humans.
You see, my first family realized that a little Jack Russell tornado like me needs…well, a family a little more prepared for a little Jack Russell tornado!
No hard feelings here - I'm ready to leap into a new adventure with YOU.
A few things you should know about yours truly:
• Sock Bandit Extraordinaire: Okay, maybe "extraordinaire" is a bit much. I'm still perfecting my craft. But let's just say, if you're missing a sock (or maybe even...ahem...some undie), check under my bed. I swear I don't know how they got there. It's like magic !
• Bug Catcher of the Year (in my own mind): Flies, spiders, moths... nothing escapes my lightning-fast reflexes! Consider me your personal pest control service, but way cuter.
• Pocket Rocket Cuddle Monster: I have endless energy for zoomies and exploring, but when it's cuddle time, I'm all in. Prepare for snuggles.
• Crate Sleeper Superstar: I love my crate! It's my little den. You'll be able to sleep soundly knowing I'm safe and dreaming of all the bugs and socks I can capture tomorrow.
• Cat-Curious: I met a cat once! He was interesting, but I didn't chase him too much - I'm pretty chill.
• Kid Approved - I love the kids I have met so far- They know how to play!
Now, I'm a smart cookie (treat? Biscuit?) and I know my commands, but I'm still learning to control my excitement.
Consistency is key, I'm told. So maybe some puppy school would be great for me, I love to learn and please, even if my bum wiggles so much I can't sit still!
Here's the thing. I need a family who can keep up with my energy, who loves to play, and who understands that I'm a little hunter at heart. I need someone who can keep me busy and teach me ALL THE THINGS! Other dogs around my own age, or bigger than me too, would be great to teach me.
If you're looking for a furry shadow, a laugh a minute, and a whole lot of love, then maybe, just maybe, I'm the pup for you!

He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with all his treatments.
His adoption fee is $795.
He is not available for Interstate Adoption

At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
