Meet Ayla, a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd with all the traits typical of her breed. She is a reserved and selective dog, especially around boisterous dogs, and has an old soul. Ayla would make a loyal companion to the right owner—someone with experience with her breed and a deep understanding of her needs. She came to the shelter very nervous, likely due to past experiences, and while she’s slowly gaining confidence, she will need a patient home willing to help her settle in and overcome her fears. We believe Ayla may have been used for breeding before, which could explain her reserved and cautious nature. With time, care, and a calm environment, Ayla will blossom into a devoted and loyal companion.
