Zuko has been waiting longer than most.
He’s one of our longest residents, and one of the most overlooked.

Not because he isn’t smart, he’s brilliant.
Not because he isn’t loving, once he bonds with you, he’s loyal with every piece of his heart.
But because Zuko is a strong, high-energy boy who needs someone just as strong in return.
Someone who sees past the labels.
Someone who sees him.

Zuko came to us full of potential but without the structure or guidance he’d clearly never been given. He wanted to be good, he just didn’t know how.

But today?
After a lot of love, consistency, and training, he’s come so far.

Zuko is curious. Clever. Playful.
He loves tug toys, splashing in water, learning new tricks, playing agility games, and after a big day, curling up beside someone he trusts.
He thrives when his brain is busy and his heart is full.
But he’s still waiting.

Time and again, people scroll past him.
Because he needs someone experienced.
Someone who understands working breeds, who can provide the structure, boundaries, and commitment he’s grown to rely on.

Zuko is looking for a very specific kind of home.
No other pets. A confident, experienced human.
A steady hand and a soft heart.

We know that home is out there, we just need help finding it.

He doesn’t just need a place to live.
He needs a person to believe in him.
