About Immi
Immi is a very sweet and loving dog that adores her humans and other dogs. Due to her past, she is a bit timid of new people and places, but her personality shines through once she becomes comfortable with you. Immi has previously lived with other dogs and children, and would live happily with either in her forever home, but does well as the only dog in a child-free home too. She would not be suitable for a home that has poultry or other birds, and it is unknown whether Immi is cat friendly. She has been around cattle and horses briefly with no issues as well.
She loves playing with other dogs, becoming fast friends with anyone she meets at the dog park, and going on her daily walks. Immi is a high energy dog who can become a bit excited, so a family who is active would be perfect for her. She often joins her foster carers on camping trips and even has her own camping chair! She is currently an outside dog, but she is house-trained, as well as leash-trained and travels well in the car. Immi isn’t crate trained, but she is very food orientated and learns quickly, so crate training is definitely possible if her forever family chooses so. Her recall is improving as well, which is great for those camping trips Immi loves! She can sit and shake hands too!
Immi is currently an outside dog, and does occasionally show signs of distress when left alone, but she soon settles and is given enrichment in the form of food puzzle toys. Once you return home, she loves having a cuddle and will give you plenty of love and kisses. If you’re looking for a dog to cuddle with when you’re not out adventuring, then Immi may be the perfect dog for you!⠀
**PLEASE NOTE ** All animals will be vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, and up to date with preventatives (fleas, ticks, mites etc) at time of adoption. All dogs over 6 months at time of intake are also tested for heartworm, and treated if positive. If animals are too young for desexing at time of adoption, a desexing voucher will be provided to the adopter.
