About Ellie
Say Hi to the gorgeous Ellie
Ellie has a lovely nature who adores the humans in her life she really enjoys kind human attention and is always up for a pat.
Ellie has normal energy levels for a dog her size she isn’t over the top in the energetic department she loves to go for a long walk she walks well on a lead and has obviously had experience in her past life before coming into rescue. Ellie is also content to lay around the house and follow you whilst you do your chores and lay at your feet when you are having coffee, working in the office or relaxing.
Our Miss E has some lovely manners and doesn’t show any signs of not being treated well whoever had her must have loved her as she was raised well as Ellie has good manners Ellie even comes when called and even better when called in conjunction with a whistle come.
Part of Ellies repertoire she sits on command, will offer you her paw for a handshake, and waits for her food. Ellie will require adopters who enjoying taking there doggo for rides in the car as well she loves to ride in a car. Ellie was good when I clipped her toenails and excellent at her vet visit.
Ellie has a very short coat and doesn't lose much if any hair.
Ellie loves to roam in the yard so would suit someone with a good-sized fenced yard..
Ellie has been good with the older dogs she is in care with just happy to co-exist we are not sure about little dogs or small children however she is a gentle girl so feel she should be
Ellie is a kind gentle girl however she is a strong girl so maybe better suited to an adult of family with older children.
Miss E will let you know when its walk time she such a sweet girl.

Meet the animal and chat to the foster carer to make sure this animal is the right one for you, your home, family and circumstances.
We recommend you have a chat as a family and a think, make sure everyone is on board and happy with the choice to add the animal to your family.
Contact the team to advise your decision either way....if this one isn't the right fit we will work with you to try and find the best match.
If this is the one, we can start the adoption process. Complete the application to adopt and promptly return the application. A home/yard check may be required by one of our team members, if this is not possible photos showing fenced and undercover areas will be required. Once application is approved, you will be invoiced. Pay the adoption fees via electronic transfer, send proof of payment to admin.
We will advise the you and foster carer the animal is clear to leave and you can arrange collection of your newest family member.
*We do have a "cooling off" period please see these terms on adoption application form.
Please note; We do offer interstate adoptions where suitable for the animal in care. All transport costs are at the adopters expense. However we will, where possible, assist with airport transfers. In liu of a meet and greet interstate adopters must have a phone interview/conversation with the foster carer. Yard/Home photos will be required with all interstate applications.
