About Sophie - 10 Year Old Poodle x
Meet Sophie, the 10-year-old Poodle Cross (5.6kgs) who's heart is as big as her cuddles. She adores snuggling up close and will happily claim your lap as her personal sanctuary. Whether it’s curling up against your chest or nestling into your neck, her love for close contact is simply infectious. She is a true lap dog at heart, always ready to share a moment of tenderness and bring a smile to your face.
Sophie’s Ideal Home
Sophie thrives in a calm, low-energy environment. She’s best suited to a retired couple, a single person, or someone who works from home—ideally in a setting with minimal stairs and gentle, short walks to help with her early signs of arthritis. A home without young children is essential for her comfort, and access to the outdoors (or a doggy door) is a bonus.
A Bit About Sophie
Despite her senior status, Sophie is a loving lap dog who adores snuggling up close for cuddles. Sophie is very well-behaved on walks and remains calm and unbothered during car trips. While she enjoys plenty of affection and belly rubs, she can be timid in new or busy environments like vet visits or dog parks.
Sophie is the perfect companion who is gentle, well-mannered, and dog and cat friendly. Although she's happy to share her space, she really flourishes when given your undivided love and attention. If your home offers a steady, peaceful routine with lots of love to give, Sophie will be your devoted companion for years to come.
Sophie is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW. Her adoption fee is $400 and she is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms.
