Hola! I am Picarone, deliciously sweet and one of a kind.

I am a young brindle boy with beautiful amber eyes, the happiest of faces (with a personality to match) and the cutest ears, ready for flight!

Like the colour of the edible Peruvian sweet I have a golden coat with molasses-coloured markings. I’m soft on the inside too.

I am new to Greyhound Rescue and have just temporarily moved into the home of one of their wonderful Greyhound Guardians. Little by little, step by step they will begin to find out more about my true ingredients.

It’s a recipe for success. Lucky me will begin to learn a bit about pet life while enjoying the comforts of a home. The treats, the pats, the ear scratches and more, watch my ‘happy’ rise and spill right over.

Combining a wonderful mix of care and kindness, my guardian’s recipe of love will prepare me to fill you up and find my forever home.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
